True to our mantra, Never Stand Still, we’re making some changes at Revolution Strategy, and we’re pretty excited as we embark on the next chapter in our agency’s life.
While staying true to our New Brunswick roots, we have set our sights on aggressively growing our business in other parts of Canada – and California.
We’re still focused on creating strategic content that gets noticed – the evolution for us will be in how that content is delivered. Today, we mash newer communications channels, like digital and social media, with traditional channels depending on where audiences engage. We are now looking to deepen our use of entertainment as a channel, which is very exciting for our team and our clients.
Enter Los Angeles.
We’ve done our homework over the past year, and there are clearly opportunities in California for us, from the perspective of both content creation and client growth. Moving forward, we’re going to be spending even more time there building on the successes we’ve had and delivering more great work that gets done in New Brunswick.
There are also opportunities to continue growing our client base across Canada. We have added to our client roster in all of our target markets, and our team has delivered world-class outcomes from our base in New Brunswick.
To support our growth plans, we are making some changes to our organizational structure effective March 1, 2013.
My role will become Strategic and Creative Counsel. I will spend my time growing the broader business, while still providing strategic and creative insight to ongoing client work.
Terri Riedle will become CEO. (Who are we kidding...she’s been running the place for years.) Terri will keep us aligned with our vision and strategic plans, and directly support our growth. She will continue to wear the CFO and COO hats as well. It’s a rare person who can balance all of that – Terri is that person.
Cynthia Goodwin will become President, leading our team of talented communications, creative and digital practitioners. Cynthia is a 20-year, award-winning marketing communications veteran. She’s a proven people leader, and she is a friend. Terri and I are thrilled that she has accepted this role.
Rounding out our senior team are Lara Wood, Vice President, Digital and Social Media; Norah Mallory, Vice President, Communications; and Anthony Stuart, Creative Lead. These fun, strategic, creative people are the best in the business and we feel fortunate to be able to work side-by-side with them every day, even if some days that’s via Skype.
New Brunswick is our home. We are committed to keeping Revolution’s roots here, helping to build our creative knowledge base, and continuing to help our Atlantic Canadian clients and communities achieve success.
In the end, we’re bringing a little bit of New Brunswick abroad, and vice versa – so that we all win.
